Is the world really thirsty? Are all the other revenue streams dead? Why do some end up begging?

I noticed this “trick” on some blogs. Even few high profile blogs .. and it made me think. First reaction was “wow, this is a cool plugin”. The next one was … “but wait .. this looks like begging”.

Do I want this on my site? NO NO NO

1. I am kinda sensitive to this issue in a way …

I live in Romania. The main problem here is cause by SOME people who are not integrated in the society (or just don’t want to) .. who find some revenue options that are slightly (well very) illegal. Begging is something many do and we’re just sick and tired of people who wait in the intersections to ask for money, of young women and men who could WORK like we do and get some wage. Cannot really understand how is it still possible for the words “Britney Spears” to be still so much sought for. What is there to read? That she’s yet again in troubles? That her music career is over, family life messed up really bad?

If you want some traffic, then by all means write about her.

I started working on the music blog on lyrics and talk and had an article about this less talented than my dog chick. It doesn’t matter I write there about Pink Floyd, Yes, Rolling Stones etc. Nope .. the moment I wrote about her my traffic went way better. I did have more visits since many still search for Britney Spears.

So .. write and have search engine traffic. Doesn’t matter her music is stupid as long as there are still many to look for information about her

Don’t know about you, but I am sick and tired of seeing so many auto-proclaimed “specialists”.

We have people who do a 3 month course in God knows what topic and after they get that “diploma” they are already full of themselves and very certain they are the best in the world. All I see is “specialist” .. I enter a badly designed site just to see the webmaster is a known specialist in .. whatever you wish, ironically it’s connected to web design, even if the guy seems to not even know what an external css means.

I get to a firm presentation .. they are specialists. I visit the competition, they’re also specialists.

COME ON get real!

Instead of claiming to be “specialists” and putting those stupid titles and tags, just manage your business and try to be good. There are few specialists in the world and (weird indeed) most if them are quite “low profile”. Everyone KNOWS they are excellent, so they don’t need to parade like coloured parrots.

Maybe all you specialists could learn something from the true ones.
