It’s Friday again. Time to think about the weekend and all the amazing things we can now enjoy. Many of my readers (self included) use these days to catch up with watching movies or documentaries, reading books etc. Since laying on the couch and watching something is easier, we’ll do this. The recommended show is a documentary I’ve seen some months ago on Netflix, titled “Frontline: Sick Around America“.

I "tweet" interesting links and useful information only. Can't believe it?
Romana,
I haven’t seen the documentary, but it is good (as an American) to hear about health care from someone outside the USA.

The big problem in USA is the expectations versus the actual service, and that premiums are so high it’s becoming increasingly difficult for both small business people to afford health care, and for business as a whole to provide health.
Even a low paid employee costs a LOT of money for insurance. It’s a drag on the economy.
The latest estimate I’ve heard is that 30% of USA has no coverage. Personally, I know a many people who don’t. Smart, well-educated college graduates.
And that’s the problem. The health care is there, but it’s not available.

We do have a problem, as Dave mentioned here. We have insurance, but it’s pricey for us too. Let’s hope we’ll be able to afford the premiums in the future.
