great movie – slightly confusing maybe. Leonardo is even quoted as saying he was confused. Tom Hardy was tremendous and will be great in mad max and the next dark night .. btw, the blog’s looking fantastic, cheers alan

Great review. You said “it’s quite simple,” but I don’t see that haha. I thought it was really complex. I understood most of it, but I couldn’t really grasp the concept of the dreamer not remembering the dream and thinking it was reality. When the dreamer wakes up, how does he not know that it was a dream? How could it possibly seem real? You’re somewhere, then you’re in the dream, then at the end, you’re all of a sudden back where you started? It seems like they would figure it out….Anyway, I liked the movie, well everything except the ending…I didn’t like the ending.
One of the things I wondered about was where they gained the idea of exponential time slowdown for dreams within dreams and if there’s actually merit to that process in real life (I mean time slowdown in when you dream). I thought the plot was pretty easy to follow overall, and was actually a bit let down compared to what I thought the movie would’ve been after so many raving reviews. Still good though, just not great.
