The last month from 2010 is already here. We’re planning for the holidays and still trying to keep in touch with the web world. Here are 10 blog posts from the last week, that I find worth sharing:

• A Twitter Exercise to Get More Followers – I cannot say I’ve been successful with this, but the idea does seem to make sense. Will try more searches and see if for another keywords I’ll be more successful.
• Grandma’s Money Lessons Still Are True – our folks taught us about the importance of saving money, not buying more than you can afford etc. And still our generation is sinking in debt for the next 30 years at least. Here are the lessons our elderly taught us once, maybe we start listening to them now.
• 5 Computer Illiterate People That Make Money Online – being a computer wiz doesn’t mean success online. Here are some examples of people who made it, even if their skills are not as good as ours.
• Is Tipping Getting a Bit Out of Control? – let’s talk about tips. What’s too much? What’s makes us look stingy? How can we keep on managing our finances with care and also tipping well?
• Jobs I’ve Had. Weird that 2 of Them Feature s-e-x – this is why it’s good to have even some bad or weird jobs in your past. At least you’ve got something to tell people about.
• Could You Save 5$ Every Day for One Year? – say what? 5 bucks/day? Hmmm… Does this sound dumb? Then think about the money you waste EACH DAY and never thought about it. I used to spend more than 5 bucks a day on various junk and, when I started keeping a budget, I was shocked.
• 18 Simple Pointers to Lasting Wealth – few ‘tricks’ that will help us with our personal finances. And, who knows, if we stick to this, we might even enjoy having more money.
• 50 Sources of Motivation – some stuff that helps you keep motivated. Find out what works for you.
• 7 Tips on How to Prepare Financially and Survive Unemployment or Job Loss – been there, done that. At least some of those things. And it worked!
• The Dangers of Store Credit Cards – when we were in the US, we noticed many people have such cards. Here is the ugly side of this.
